Services Built for Acreages
Large properties aren’t “just bigger lawns.” Acreages come with mixed turf, rough grass, shelterbelts, fence lines, ditches, and problem areas that don’t fit cookie-cutter programs. We offer flexible, custom spraying and fertilization plans designed around your property.
Clear Safety Guidance for Rural Properties
From lawns and trails to fence lines and non-turf areas, acreage spraying requires careful planning. We take the time to explain product choice, safety precautions, and timing, ensuring you can protect kids, pets, and livestock while still getting effective results.
Experience Matters More on Acreages
Acreage spraying requires judgment regarding drift awareness, variable terrain, mixed vegetation, and even livestock. Our work is handled by experienced, licensed applicators, not seasonal crews learning on the job.
We Know Rural Addresses (and How to Get There)
Acreage properties don’t come with house numbers on every corner and that’s not a problem for us. We’re comfortable working with legal land descriptions (LSDs), township and range, RR addresses, GPS coordinates, and maps. You won’t need to meet us at the road or explain how to find your place.
Service You Don't Have to Chase
We combine professional-grade treatments with the kind of service you expect in a small town. You’ll see us, talk to us, and know who’s working on your lawn. We can take cash, questions are encouraged, and neighbours are never “inconvenient.” You won't be waiting a week for a quote and another week for service. We genuinely enjoy working in rural areas and spending our days out in the countryside.
Beaumont Owned and Operated
We are proudly owned and operated in Beaumont, Alberta. There is no franchise or out-of-town call centers. When you hire us, you are dealing directly with the people doing the work.
Our "weed and feed" treatment combines liquid fertilizer and broadleaf weed control to improve turf health while targeting common lawn weeds.
Liquid Fertilizer: Custom-blended each month with essential micronutrients to support strong growth across your property, even without full irrigation.
Weed Control: Targets broadleaf weeds only (e.g., dandelions, clover, chickweed) without harming your grass. Hardier weeds like clover and Canada thistle often require multiple treatments for full control.
Treatment Schedule: Most acreages benefit from 2–3 applications per season for lasting results, though even a single properly timed treatment will significantly reduce dandelions. We offer upwards of 5 application per season.
Pricing: Costs vary depending on area treated and scope of work. As a general guide, treatments are approximately $600 per hectare ($250 per acre).
How It Works: Total Control kills existing vegetation above ground. New growth may appear after treatment as it does not prevent future germination. Grasses re-establish more slowly than broadleaf weeds, providing lasting control when repeat treatments are applied.
Treatment Schedule: Applications should be timed when vegetation is actively growing. The number of treatments per season varies depending on soil type, seed-base, existing vegetation, and property goals.
Pricing: Costs vary depending on area treated and scope of work. As a general guide, costs for larger areas are approximately $600 per hectare ($250 per acre). Smaller jobs with low chemical use (fence-lines or rock/mulch beds via backpack sprayer) are typically charged $125/hour.
Avoid costly weed notices and stay in compliance. We’re trained and certified to identify and treat regulated noxious weeds, helping you meet municipal and provincial requirements with zero hassle.
How It Works: We identify regulated noxious weeds on your property and select the most effective herbicides for control. As a registered pesticide service company, we have access to professional-grade products not available to acreage owners. Treatments are applied in accordance with provincial regulations, targeting problem species while minimizing risk to surrounding vegetation and keeping desirable grasses intact.
Treatment Schedule: Applications are timed when weeds are actively growing and before they go to seed. Many of the control products we use provide season-long systemic activity, meaning a single, properly timed application is often enough to manage the problem for the entire season.
Pricing: Costs vary depending on area treated and scope of work. As a general guide, treatments are approximately $700 per hectare ($280 per acre). Smaller jobs with low chemical use (smaller infestations via backpack sprayer) are typically charged $125/hour.
Uncontrolled trees, shrubs, and weeds along fence lines can damage fencing, restrict access, and quickly become an eyesore. We provide targeted tree and brush control to maintain clean fence lines and protect your infrastructure without constant cutting or weed-whipping. These treatments are intended for targeted fence-line and perimeter growth, not full shelterbelts, woodlots, or forested areas.
How It Works: We apply specialized herbicides designed to control small nuisance trees, shrubs, and woody vegetation at the root level. Treating vegetation before cutting stops regrowth at the source, preventing the aggressive shoot-back that occurs when trees and brush are simply cut or mulched. Once treated, vegetation is far easier to remove and far less likely to return.
Treatment Schedule: Applications are timed when trees and brush are actively growing to ensure effective uptake. In many cases, a single properly timed application is all that is needed. Heavier infestations or aggressive species (e.g. willows) may benefit from follow-up treatments.
Pricing: Costs vary depending on area treated and scope of work. As a general guide, costs for larger areas are approximately $700 per hectare ($280 per acre). Smaller jobs with low chemical use (inconsistent growth treatable via backpack sprayer) are typically charged $125/hour.
Trees, shrubs, and weeds growing through fence lines quickly make a property look neglected and can damage fencing over time. We provide hands-on mechanical removal of overgrowth.
How It Works: We mechanically cut and remove unwanted trees, shrubs, and brush along fence lines and tight-access areas. This service focuses on the grunt work: the small, awkward, and labour-intensive cleanup that larger arborist or mulching companies typically avoid. We are not arborists, and this service is not intended for large trees, trees near power lines, or full-scale clearing. We also do not operate motorized mulchers, so large continuous areas or shelterbelts are outside the scope of this service.
Synergy Benefits: This service pairs extremely well with our Fence-Line Cleanup: Tree & Brush Control Treatment. When woody vegetation is first treated with herbicide and allowed to die, removal is far easier and it eliminates the aggressive regrowth that normally follows cutting alone.
Pricing: Pricing is based on the treatment area and scope of work. Mechanical tree & brush removal is typically $60–$80 per hour, depending on vegetation density, access, and timing. Please note that while cutting down trees and brush is quick, removing and piling debris can take up to twice as long. We do not charge for drive time or disposal trips.
